All members of the Rangiora Bridge Club are entitled to play bridge at the Club every Saturday afternoon of the Bridge Year. Members may either select their partners in accordance with the various competition rules in order to qualify, or alternatively, they may play with whomever they wish and not qualify.
SIX MATCH PAIRS
Five pairs competititions. (Thomas, Cherry, Pocock, Oxford and Grey), each with 6 rounds, 4 to qualify. All rounds in each competition with the same partner. If more than 4 rounds are played with the same partner, the top 4 will count. A Player must play with a different partner for each of the 5 competitions to qualify forthe individual trophies. If you play more than one competition with the same partner and do not declare which competition you are entering on the competition sheets at the beginning of the year, your results from the first competition you play together will be counted.
TWO & THREE DAY MATCHES
Three competitions - Autumn Colours, Winter Blues and Spring Blossoms. Each competition to be played with a different partner. One substitution to be allowed in 3 day matches.

4 rounds, 3 rounds to qualify, each round to be played with a different partner.
HOLIDAY WALK-IN
2 non-competition days to start the year. No partnership requirements. Sort a partner and come and play.
